About the Author
Brandon Mull is the #1 New York Times best-selling author of the Fablehaven, Dragonwatch, Beyonders, and Five Kingdom series. A kinetic thinker, Brandon enjoys bouncy balls, squeezable stress toys, and popping bubble wrap. I was a little skeptical when I heard that a cookbook was being made for Fablehaven but you guys, don't be skeptical. Go all in and get this book! If you are a Fablehaven fan or want your kiddos to be one and are starting on the books-go get this cookbook. It is a must buy for all old, new and yet to be fans. One thing I always look for in a cookbook is if it has pictures because I'm sorry, I want to know what I am making. And I feel like cookbooks that come with ties to books definitely need pictures. This cookbook did not disappoint, it has pictures for every single recipe. It could get five stars just for that alone. I also gave it a five-star rating for the yummy, easy to follow recipes that fill this cookbook, cover to cover. Your mouth is definitely going to water as you flip through these and once you make them your taste buds will be even happier. Five stars for creativity as well! I've been a fan of Fablehaven from the very beginning and going through this cookbook brought back all the favorite scenes from the books for me and more. I'll definitely be rereading the series because of this cookbook. It also captured the attention of my kids who can't even read yet. My toddler flipped through with me and said more than once "Ooo that looks fun. Let's make that, and that, and that." This is a cookbook for the whole family to enjoy whether you are a Fablehaven fan or not. I think after making a few of these recipes you'll be one if you aren't already.
