Jimmy Dean Frozen Fully Cooked All-Natural Turkey Patties - 18.3oz

Gotta be one of the worst breakfast sausages I ever tasted. It doesn't matter if I fry them in the frying pan or microwave them, anyway you cook these they are fat and rubbery. Super chewy too, for some reason when you microwave them they balloon up and inflate like crazy. I wouldn't get these again, one and done. YUCK!

I cannot stress this enough, they’re gross. We’ve bought them in the past and they were great but never again.

I agree with the others that we used to enjoy our Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausages before but the latest batch we purchased are not enjoyable anymore. Would not buy again, sadly.

My brother bought a bag of the patties one day and we realized the ingredients are not the same as the turkey sausage links. Pretty disappointing since I am gluten free. The links are great & are a favorite go to for myself. I’ve never had a bad reaction as a gluten free/ dairy free person with the links. Hope that is helpful for anyone with gluten free kids looking for quick breakfast items they can have! However, the patties do contain oat fiber & turkey broth. I’ll say the bag does not explicitly say gluten free but it also does not contain a warning for possible gluten/ wheat contamination which is not okay!!! It’d be easy for someone to assume they should work if the links are out at a store (that’s what my brother thought). They need to put an explicit warning or something more to help clarify in my opinion since patties are not usually assumed to have wheat involved in making them. Pretty sure this goes against FDA’s warning recommendations for gluten/ wheat containing items… It’s possible those items could be made without gluten containing ingredients but there’s no warnings to say one way or another. I also had a ridiculously hard time navigating the Jimmy Dean website (and Tyson’s) to get clarity on if these are gluten free, which adds a layer of frustration. You’d think they’d want these things clearly marked so you can know if the items is something that one can or cannot buy, including a clear list of safe alternatives. For now, I’m steering clear and would not recommend buying them for your gluten free selves or family members. For those wondering what could contaminate: oat is often processed on shared equipment with wheat, barley, etc. and most broths contain wheat flour involved. Hope this helps anyone wondering if these are safe!

This is false advertising. They are not flat as pictured. They are thick and don’t taste that great. I would not recommend.

There's a very noticeable difference is the Turkey Sausage Patties and Links. The seasonings are not as flavorful as before in the patties. The links are still flavorful. The spongy mouth feel in both is unexpected and different - off putting for the frequent consumer. It's possible to get used to it in the links BUT definitely NOT The Patties.

I love jimmy Dean products but this turkey sausage has changed and not for the better, not sure if recipe has changed but size (thickness) has changed and I was very disappointed

I'm so disappointed that these contain oat fiber and tea powder. I'm assuming that they are not gluten free since they don't say gluten free oats are used. And why is tea showing up in so many foods these days? Super disappointing. I can't eat these, so I won't be buying them again unless the recipe changes.

love these, they hit the spot for me. definitely a bit tougher, but i don’t mind. i found that as long as they’re not overcooked they won’t dry out. i like that since they’re larger it’s more protein. i just wish more there were more patties in the bag for the price. love that there are better ingredients in these than the usual ones. overall i love these for breakfast

i made this for breakfast and just about threw up smelling it. rubbery and it stinks so bad

My family used to love the turkey sausages but they recently changed them from flat patties to these thick hockey pucks. My daughter won't touch them for anything! They used to be her favorite breakfast choice but now she says they're to puffy and hard to eat and just don't taste the same. And I noticed the smaller amount. Thanks alot. CHANGE THEM BACK!!!!

Thick and rubbery. Not at all like the picture on the front. Seeing other reviews it seems they changed the product. Last bag we had was great, this one I want to throw away.

I have noticed there is a difference in the package. There are 13 vs the original 26 patties. The tastes is great but the patties are really just to thick for me. I wish you to go back to the original size. I do love this product. I had my morning routine set accordingly. I originally wanted to find a good turkey sausage that would fit my diet. I did when I found the Jimmy Dean's. Good taste and just the right size. Now however I am not adjusting to the thicker sausage. Just wanted to share my experience.
