Q: Can these be sterilized or cleaned in an electric sterilizer? Or what is the best way to sanitize them?

A: Hi HW. We do not recommend using any type of sterilizer. Here's our recommended cleaning method to disinfect toys using only natural/non-toxic products: Simply fill a bowl with hot water (about 4 cups) and add in 1/4 cup of vinegar and 2 tablespoons of baking soda (you can also add in a few drops of baby-safe essential oils like Eucalyptus or Mandarin). Place your toys inside your cleaning concoction and suck up some of it to disinfect the interior. Let sit overnight and rinse thoroughly in the morning! Thank you. The Battat Team

These are a great option for “mold-free” bath toys. Just soak them in some bleach water when they need a cleaning and make sure to leave them standing up on a rack to dry.

Hi Cee - We were surprised to read your review on our B. toys Finger Puppet Pets. There is nothing in the materials used to make these toys that would cause a toxic smell. The Finger Puppet Pets are Phthalate and BPA free, and contain nothing that would be harmful to you or your little one. We suggest leaving the toys out of their package in a well ventilated place for 24 hours and see if the smell disappears. You could also soak them in water mixed with baking soda - this will neutralize the smell. Sincerely, Team Battat
