Fingers to short on gloves

The gloves wash and dry well and the fit is fine. The problem is they are to short in the fingers and with deadlifting or some barbell workouts they rub against the lower part of my finger and don't protect my hand. I'm a petite woman with small hands so I imagine they'd be even worse for taller individuals. I purchased size small.
