This legend speaks of the virtues of the water that since 1895 has given its name to one of the most important drinks in all of Mexico: Topo Chico Mineral Water. There was a beautiful Aztec princess who suffered a terrible disease. A disease so strange that no doctors of her father, Moctezuma I Ilhuicamina, successor in 1440 of the King Itzcoatl, had been able to cure. Desperate, the King turned to the older priests in the kingdom to find a cure for his beautiful daughter. They told him that according to the timeless stories of travelers, in a far away northern land, there were strange and hidden waters which flowed at high temperatures. Waters in which one only needed to bathe in or drink from to regain vigor, joy, strength, and refreshment. Encouraged by this news, Moctezuma I ordered an immediate expedition to take his daughter to this amazing place. After traveling long and rugged roads, the Princess and her expedition reached a fertile valley flanked by mountains. To the east, they saw a mountain with the form of woman’s face (now Cerro de la Silla) and a mole-shaped hill, from whose slopes flowed the prodigal waters. After spending some time there, taking baths and drinking from the water, the daughter of Moctezuma I, his priests, and chiefs returned to the Anahuac lands optimistic, strong, happy, and refreshed. The news about the Princess's recovery spread throughout the kingdom and has passed from generation to generation up until modern times. Anyone who has tasted a cold Topo Chico sparkling mineral water on a warm day can believe the story of such spectacular refreshment.

Whenever my stomach is not very feeling its best after eating too much I pop a Topo Chico and drink it making me feel much better after. This mineral water is always a must in our household and its ingredients are literally what it says. Mineral water and Carbon Dioxide. I truly recommend this beverage to anyone just to have a simple little kick to water.

This is my daily drink! I've always had a hard time drinking enough water until I found topo chico. It's the most carbonated water I've tried. It has a great taste without being flavored. I buy the 12 packs and keep them cold in the fridge!

This is a timeless classic. It is so refreshing and can help upset stomach’s like nobody’s business. My dad swears by in in the texas heat. Add lime and a dash of salt for the perfect natural electrolyte drink.

If you want a sparkling water that is very very very carbonated, this is it! It’s so crispy and refreshing that’s it’s a great option for hot summer days. I like to squeeze some lime or lemon and add some tajin to it. Adding no sugar flavored drops is also a great option for a calorie free flavored sparkling drink. Topo chico in the glass bottle option is much more refreshing than plastic bottle but plastic bottle is reusable.

Topochico non-alcohol is amazing, the best seltzer water. I am not a fan of seltzer water, but Topochico is the only one I’ll drink. When I saw the other flavors I just had to try them. Again, perfect. The right amount of flavor and fizz. Then I found the alcohol Topochico and they are the perfect summer seltzer. Perfect on the water at the river, camping, or at home.

This is my favorite water. I drink this water bottle very often. Every time I eat snails or other hard-to-digest foods, I drink a bottle of this water. Packaging beautiful. Very cheap too. Carbonation very good. Ingredients very good too

The greatest product ever!!!! You must get the glass bottle -the plastic bottles go flat after one sip. The teal glass bottles seem to have more carbonation compared to the clear glass bottles. Please keep making the original topo Chico in the teal glass bottles!

I love how long they held it down before getting wildly popular. Still the best most bubbly refreshing drink. Mix it, drink it straight, get the perfectly flavored versions, do it all. I’m happy they have cases of the big bottles for cheap in the northeastern US. We used to drink it all the time in Texas.

This is the best sparkling water ever. It's very carbonated, so much so that you can't take more than three sips in a row. It stays carbonated long enough. When it's chilled, it's the best thing for the morning after a party. I'm so glad I found it and tried it, now I have it at home in different sizes.
