Mustela Gentle Cleansing Gel Baby Body Wash and Baby Shampoo

This is very gentle on my baby skin, we love this from newborn days to now that she’s almost 1!

I use this on my son and myself, it smells amazing!

Soooo I got into this brand in 2014. My daughter had some serious eczema. It would look like open sores. So I wanted to give the brand a go in 2024. This scent was a little strange. I had to smell it for a while before I bought it. It has a peppery smell is the best way to explain it. Smelling the bottle was different than washing my son in it. It wasn’t the same. But it was. I do recommend it. The smell is not strong. But sticking your nose in it, it can be. This is coming from someone who wants to choke someone over perfume or essential oils.

Extremely overwhelming scent. The product cleaned fantastic but unfortunately the scent was so strong it made me queasy and gave me a headache shortly after

I love using this on my baby. It cleans her so well, and smells so good! I actually use it to clean my own face as well because I love it so much!

I have used this gel for my newborn baby and we are very happy with it! She has dry skin and recently starts having mild eczema and this product still works for her very well!!

The best gentle body wash for babies. I’ve used it for both of my babies. Cleanse the skin and leaves it hydrated. Very good and mild smell.

Do not buy this product it left a burn like rash on my baby's face!

Love how it leaves my baby skin feeling. my baby had a break out a couple weeks after being born all over her face and a friend of mine suggested using this during bath time and the cleansing water on her face and it cleared up her skin quickly I absolutely love these products.

We use a lot of Mustela products because of how gentle and clean they are on our son's skin. We actually also use them on ourselves since we love them so much! But this gentle cleansing gel was disappointing compared to some other clean options on the market. It has very little lather, so a lot of the soap ends up getting washed off immediately. Because of that we went through the bottle far too quickly to make the pricier price tag worth it. We'll continuing using other Mustela products, but not this one!

I love Mustela. The formula is gentle and smells sooo good. I used this with both of my girls when they were little babies

Does a good job at washing baby however not tear free. The moment it got on my baby’s eyes he screamed and cried… switching to another product

Works okay, but the second it got in my baby’s eye, she screamed in pain. Not sure if it’s actually tear free.

Smells great but unfortunately it broke my baby’s skin out.

My 5 week old had baby acne it's like as soon as I washed her face with it, it disappeared immediately. Love it so much! Highly recommend!

I use this on my son with eczema and it's the only body wash that helps and doesn't irritate his skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I truly loved all of mustelas products it enjoyed the fact that this cleaning gel was biodegradable and that it was 93% made out of plants. I now tend to see what I put on my baby rather than just buying all those big corporation brand products. I truly loved this and used it to wash my child’s hair and it left their hair clean and smooth which I loved, since some hair products would leave her hair all coarse and dry. This was amazing and I would truly buy again for my kid. Not only was it biodegradable and plant based but it was also fortified with Vitamins which another plus for me.
