Very cute seats! Large adjustable range in height. Velvet is soft and doesn't feel low-quality. Easy to assemble, but be warned - I couldn't get it to come apart once I put it together! So make sure you're ready to move the whole chair before you assemble it. There is a plastic ring thing that is supposed to cover the connection between the base and the pole of the chair - the plastic ring was slightly too big, so it fits loosely and would wiggle around if you picked the chair up to move it. The ring is entirely decorative, though, so you don't have to use it. (If I could take my chairs apart, I'd probably remove the plastic rings.) Generally the plastic ring at the base isn't super noticeable, I'm not worried about it. The base of the chair is not weighted, but the base is wide enough that I felt totally stable while sitting and wiggling around on the chair. The pole is significantly heavier than the base, so the weight is still distributed well. When the chair is extended to its full height, it makes a thunk-ing sound when you get up out of it, which I could imagine might get annoying for downstairs neighbors. However, the sound is very reduced when the chair is slightly shorter, especially if you're not getting up way too fast. I'm super happy with these chairs, they look great and they're super comfy!! So excited to have them in my space!!

Very lightweight. Easy to assemble. Great look and soft velvet feels great! Paid 86$ but price went up!
