Merrick Lane Portable Steel Smokeless Wood Burning Outdoor Firepit with Waterproof Cover

We got the 27" Black firepit and are very pleased with the product itself as well as the size. We travel in our camper often and were worried this may be too large for traveling - but it will be perfect for nights away from home! It's a perfect weight for portability and the cover that comes with it is great for keeping it safe from the sun and not as dirty staying outside. Highly recommend as a great option for a "clean firepit!"

This is a wonderful fire pit, and one our family will use for years to come. It arrived quickly, is ready to go right out of the box, and looks nice. It didn’t require any assembly or prep. We started the fire easily and i was really impressed at the lack of smoke affecting the surrounding area. Usually with wood fires you have to dodge the smoke, but we barely noticed any smoke with this pit. It was a great buy, and I highly recommend!

This firepit was just what we needed for the back porch! It came ready to use right out of the box, which made my husband very happy he didn't have to put anything together. I love the clean, simple style and the waterproof cover fits snug to prevent blowing off. We can't wait to use it this weekend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fire pit is nice and big. We put some concrete pavers under the fire pit as a base for it to sit on. After our fire, I emptied the ash out, and a lot of it fell through the grate, so I had to tip the whole pit over. This wasn't the easiest to clean up. I also wasn't smokeless, either. There was so much smoke, and everyone smelled like smoke, too. I did like that it came with the waterproof cover.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The firepit was well packaged and no scuffs noted so far from the delivery. There was no assembly required really. I just prepped the area in my back yard where I wanted the firepit placed. You can place it wherever you want it because it is lifted off the ground (use the steel frame), so it protects the space/ground under it. I like the shape and color as it looks very slick and modern. I also thought this would be so heavy but i could actually move it by myself. However, if you need to clean it, you lift the grate out to get rid of any debris. It has also a waterproof cover included that keeps this looking great year round.

I got this firepit to enjoy an evening without smelling like a campfire. It’s exactly what I was looking for style wise and looks even better in person. I live that it comes with a cover so I didn’t have to purchase that separately!

Belnick Staff Review: This smokeless firepit is the perfect centerpiece to our back deck. We have a gazebo with a small fan / vent in the top, which means we can have a fire going even in the rain. But we were tired of getting smoked out by our little open traditional fire pit we used to have, so we upgraded to this one. More warmth and less smoke - looks nicer too!

This is a great firepit and has a really cool design. It's perfectly round on the inside but the outside has beveled edges. The stand is built in and the walls are hollow - this allows air to flow up thru the holes at the top of the interior (I think this is what makes it "smokeless"). There are slits around the edge of the bottom which helps with overall airflow. I found the firepit to be easy to start. This firepit comes with a nice cover but you may consider putting a stick inside so water can't puddle on the top (of course keeping in a garage would be preferable if space permits). The thickness of the steel seems sufficient for a long life, I'll post a follow up if this isn't the case. It took 10 or 15 minutes for the firepit to achieve a "smokeless" burn. Overall, I'm really happy with this firepit and look forward to using it more this spring and summer. Would definitely not hesitate recommending this to a friend. NOTE: the product is well packaged within a styrofoam top and bottom - these leave slight scuffing on the matte black finish but it wipes off easily with a damp cloth.

The instructions are clear and to the point it is very well-made. Simply put all you have to do is add Yearwood add your flame and enjoy. I cannot wait for the summer so we can have a long night on the patio with our new fire pit. It’s so beautiful. I just can’t wait to enjoy it.

Stylish, well-constructed and great performance! This is a quality pit – very well ventilated and you’re able to build a great flame. We’ve tried a couple other fire pits and usually I’ll have some logs that die out towards the end of the fire, but pleasantly surprised with this design. We’ve used it twice in the first week and all the wood completely burns down to ash without continuous stoking and rearranging the logs. Clean up was fast and easy. Also, the bronze version has a great finish and really compliments our outdoor space. Highly recommend.

I wasn't sure what to expect, since I hadn't seen one in stores. What a pleasant surprise! This fire pit is very well-made and looks fantastic. I am also impressed with its functionality. Works just as described. Very happy with this purchase!!
