I would recommend this desk. It was a little confusing to assemble but I am a 68 year old woman and I did put it together alone in one afternoon. The description is inaccurate because it says the legs are metal but they are not. However, for me I was pleased with the black painted wood legs. This desk is a nice addition to my grandson's room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very simple writing desk as described. Had very simple directions which made it easy to setup. It’s sturdy and has a light wood desktop, which I like. I like that it has a back ledge to keep you from pushing stuff off the back. It’s a decent height as well. I like that I can use different chairs (lounge/pc/even a kitchen chair) and still be comfortable (sometimes desk – smaller ones are shorter). Overall it’s a decent quality and very nice writing desk.

I like white furniture in general because it’s easy to coordinate with bold accent pieces and fits in through many different iterations of decor refreshing! I put it together backwards and upside down and didn’t realize till o was halfway done and had to take it apart and restart. My bad but the instructions weren’t super clear so that could have been better but even doing it one and a half times it didn’t take too long. I have a big framed mirror on mine against the wall because I’m using it as a vanity but it would work just as well for working at home or simply a place to keep paperwork/bills/etc.
