I got this as a runner - very handsome but it sheds constantly. All the time regardless of the activity on it. Even after almost 6 months it is constantly hairy at the edges and throws off clumps of fuzzy on the adjacent floor. I'll be replacing it and I would suggest if you are getting this for a high traffic area, be prepared to vacuum every other day to keep up with it.

To reduce excessive shedding, we recommend vacuuming your new rug 1-2 times per week in the direction of the pile with the beater bars disengaged. Shedding should diminish within several weeks after.
