Q: Do the legs unscrew from the bench?

A: Hello TF - We appreciate your interest in this Upholstered Storage Bench. The legs do not unscrew, as the item is shipped completely assembled and requires no assembly. The bench has a wood frame and light-tone wood legs, but because it is pre-assembled, the legs do not need to be detached or adjusted. - Rick.

Q: How deep is the storage space? The measurements provided seem to include depth of the seat but not the depth from the cover to the bottom of the storage space. Please advise.

We ordered this chest for a guest room at our home that doubles as a room for our granddaughter when she visits. It is a great addition which adds color to the room and a bit of whimsy. There is a good amount of storage and sturdy enough for an adult to sit on. Our granddaughter promptly filled it with her dolls, "stuffies" and blankets. Exactly what we were looking for and the price is reasonable when you compare it to others of this quality.

After waiting 6 long weeks after placing my order I finally received it and the fabric along the sides is defective. The images are noticeably blurry. The top panel does not have this defect so I know it’s not just how the print should be. I’m concerned about ordering a replacement, waiting another 6 weeks, and then possibly having the same issue. It’s disappointing this would be made with defective fabric, especially considering it is made to order and takes such a long time to get.

I was hoping to hold out until this item goes on sale (if it ever does) but ultimately gave in and purchased the Menagerie print. Although I wish this had been $100 less, it's still worth the money. The print is gorgeous and the bench is sturdy, easy to use, roomy, and a snap to assemble. I really don't have anything negative to say about it except that my cat loves it, too, so I have to keep the sticky scratch-deterrant tape on it at all times. But even with that, it's still lovely to look at. Please note that you'll have to wait a month from when you order until it's shipped.

Fabric is beautiful, made in USA and it looks great. HOWEVER….after a few days of use as an ottoman, the fabric is creased and the cushioned part has started collapsing a bit at the edges. I’m concerned about how it will wear over time and have decided to return the second one I purchased, since I intended to use it as a dining bench. I’m bummed. It feels like a more appropriate price would have been $250.

I'm truly impressed with the quality of this bench. Made by a USA furniture company, it is very sturdy and well-made. It is a bit pricey, but worth it! And of course it is one of the cute RPC prints. The storage space is great (I am storing my scarfs/pashminas in there). And my cat loves hanging out on top! It has been a great addition to my woman cave/office space.

Anything from Target or Rifle Paper Co is always nice. Their collaboration on this fabric covered storage bench is really, really great. We didn't put the legs on, so it rests on the floor and serves as a coffee table. It is a nice addition to the living room. The price is also really good.

This is the best storage bench I’ve ever owned. It’s sturdy and beautiful. The lid has hinges and opened so smoothly. It even has a smooth closure when you let go of it to close. Not a super loud thud like a lot of others.
