A: Thanks for reaching out. This will add a slight amount of support but it's not necessarily meant to do so. It seems that you may want to look more towards a foam mattress topper as that will add a layer of protection and support.

And honestly, it’s not worth it, they made it look nice and plush, when it’s actually quite flat. I am laying on it right now and it is exactly the same as laying on top of the mattress with no topper, as far as comfortability goes. As far as the gel component, there is a slight chill, but I can’t imagine it’s going to do much when the blankets are over it and your all covered up.

I have a twin sized bed and the mattress is deep or thick or whatever you want to call it. I washed it immediately and snapped it onto the mattress. It’s a whole new world. It’s such a cozy soft pad. My regular bedding fit right over it. No rolling or snapping. Overall a great product for the value.
