Description

Q: Can this be used on double pane windows or may in cause window cracking?

A: Hello MJ, Thank you for your interest in Regent. Our films are decorative and allow all light through. We have not had any issues brought to us regarding double pane windows, but you might want to check with your window installer. Thank you again MJ!

Q: The dimensions are listed as 24” x 36.” Is there just one sheet of this size? How much window area would one order of this product cover?

A: Hello WK, Each package contains one rolled up sheet of window film along with instructions. The film covers a 2' x 3 ' area and can be lined up seamlessly on the manufactured edges.

Q: Can this be cut to fit a round window?

A: Hello Laura, Thank you for your interest in the Regent style of Artscape Window Film. Yes, you can cut the film to fit any completely clean, smooth, flat surface. Just remember to follow the directions and leave 1/16" gap so the film does not touch the frame or gasket of the window.

Q: Does this come off easily if I want to change it?

A: Yes, as long as you follow installation instructions, this film applies much like a suction cup. Just peel off when you want to change. We recommend changing every 2-4 years.

Pattern is mostly as shown, but the lines are a dark silver instead of a true black color. This film could layer a little more neatly in some spots where there are overlaps as well.

I cut the design in thirds and placed them along a 64 inch window as an accent strip. I taped a couple pieces together to keep them in line and it worked great until I tried pulling the tape up. The plack lines on the window cling separated from the design and I had no choice but to keep the packaging tape in place.

Hi Stella, As any product that has ink on it, I would recommend not putting tape directly on it as any ink would stick to most types of tape. If you spray the window with the water solution first and then put the strip up, it will stick until you are ready to come back and finish the squeegeeing.

They are nice and fairly easy to apply. However, a squeegee is needed for perfect application. I don't recall reading this in the preparation directions. Also, I was expecting the film to be more frosted or denser. I was expecting not to see anything past the film, but i still can see my neighbor's home. And, if the pattern came in a horizontal design, that, too, would be preferred. Other than that, they are enhancement to my home.

These were fairly easy to install with a spray bottle and old credit card. I had to do some resizing but the sheets were easily cut with kitchen scissors. I’m really enjoying the added privacy day and night while allowing more natural light into my space !
