Home Office Parsons Desk - Martha Stewart

One thing I didn't like about assembling this desk is that there are no pre-drilled holes in the desktop so alignment won't be perfect since it's do it yourself. I had contacted customer service and they said that it was to provide stability for the desk but I know that was nonsense since plenty of products come with pre-drilled holes. Overall I like the powder coating and it looks pretty sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The table seems decently well constructed. The assembly instructions were for a different model of desk but it still wasn't hard to put together. Some of the screw holes were misaligned a bit but easily managed around. It's a beautiful color and goes well with my mid century modern office. I like the contrast between the table top and the legs. Small for use as an actual desk but great as a side table.

Proper height for a desk and fine for lap top however would not feel comfortable putting a heavier desktop computer on desk as not sure how much weight this will hold.

It was an excellent purchase, it looks beautiful in my office space. The build seems to be very sturdy in comparison to most desks this size/style. Its quite versatile and can be used as a tall table for decorations or crafts since it does not have drawers. The colors are neutral so should fit most decor styles.

It safely hold a good bit of weight. It also stores a 3 drawer file cabinet underneath without trouble. It's a desk dream! I highly recommend!

I love the touch of brass in the legs of the table. It plays well with the wood. The height of the table is great. It is big enough to be a desk in an office as well as a table like I am using it. There is plenty of room if you wanted to have a chair and use it in an office space. It has a sleek and simple look to it. It honestly can go with many decor styles. The quality of the table shows.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This desk overall is not terrible. It has a nice look to it. Plain and simple lines. I like the metal for the legs. The wood top is solid and sturdy. The thing that makes this desk a semi dud to me is putting it together. Although it is simple the directions weren’t clear and we ended up putting the legs on the wrong side. We had to undo them and the. reattach on the opposite side so that the support could fit in to the proper holes. Also there are not any sort of pre drilled holes to attach the top. So we had to just use our drill to attach the top and unfortunately it moved around a bit and is super hard to get perfectly centered.

I thought it would be a little easier to put together honestly, the instructions were not very clear at all. When it came time to put the top of the desk on, I realized that there weren’t any pre drilled holes, so I had to get someone to help me line everything up perfectly in order to attach it to the top. Overall it’s a great desk, but I do not recommend getting it if you do not have the experience or proper tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this Martha Stewart Noah Home Office Parsons Desk in Gray Wood Grain with Oil Rubbed Bronze Metal Frame is really really nice, and I can't believe how easy it was to put together, I'm a 57-year-old woman and I did it by myself, I had to look at the directions really closely to figure everything out but it was an absolute breeze to put together., only a few parts and some screws and that's it... It's definitely really good quality and very sturdy and I love the smooth gray top of the desk, it matches the rooms carpet that I'm going to use it in, it's going to be my desk for my gaming computer that I also do some work on... If you're looking for an awesome desk, I definitely recommend this desk.

It took me about an hour and a half to put it together. The directions are pretty simple. I just wish that it would’ve had more clarification on what side to put the bottom railings on. I also wish that the holes would’ve been pre-drilled, making it easier to put in the screws into the top board, other than that I was pretty easy. I also was heavier than I expected.
