I needed chairs that could stand the harsh elements at my summer house on a harbor in Maine. The metal frame and faux wood slats look like they will hold up to the elements without rusting or rotting. I really love the classic curved seat and arm rest structure, it timeless. The light weight and ability to stack the chairs is a great feature that allows for quick and easy storage when needed. Because of the design of the frame and material used for the slats, they are really easy to wipe down when they get dirty. For me, the only reason this chair is not 5 stars is that depending on how I sit in the chair, the top slat on the back will hit my back wrong. Besides that this chair has it all, good looking, timeless design, quality material, will hold up to the elements and will last me for many years to come.

They break very easily. They are cheaply made. The plastic pieces are very weak.

Impossible to remove all of the plastic wrap from the metal tubing frame....it is built in at the joints....very time consuming to unwrap and hated the overuse of plastic.....chairs are comfortable but I would not purchase again because of the plastic wrapping

I have a medium size balcony on the top floor of a condo building. There, at times, are seasonal storms and furniture has to be put indoors rapidly. These chairs are lightweight, but strong, and being stackable take up very little space. They resist damage from sun and rain and are quite comfortable. When not in use, they slide easily under my 27” x 27” teak/aluminum table for a compact seating arrangement.
