A: Hi JJB These are not waterproof. The upper material is micro suede which is permeable.

A: Hello These are pretty flat on the insole and would not be a good choice for someone with plantar fasciitis which requires high arch support. The insoles are not removable.

These boots are super cute! However, I bought TWO different pairs for my daughters and both pairs fell apart within the month. Huge holes and the soles literally came apart on both pairs. Do not waste your money!
