Overall the bed is adorable. The assembly was OK, there were a few predrilled holes that were missing so that threw me off but it turned out fine. My issue is the SMELL. We have had this bed up for over two months and my daughter’s room still stinks of this chemical smell. I thought maybe it was the wood but you can smell it clearly from the headboard itself. We tried airing out the room and figured it would get better with time but it’s not. I’m so disappointed and concerned what chemicals my 4 year old is being exposed to every night. I wish I never purchased it.

The smell you’re experiencing is likely a result of the packaging and storage conditions during transportation. These factors can cause the scent to seep into the materials. We recommend using some baking soda to gently clean the headboard, which may help eliminate the smell over time. As for the missing pre-drilled holes, we confirm that all parts are checked for proper pre-drilling according to the assembly instructions before packing. Very simple to put together and it looks so cute! The only reason I took off a star was because some of the hardware was missing but since it wasn’t crucial (they were similar to washers) I was still able to put it together. But overall DEFINITELY worth the money.

Came just as pictured which I was cautious about since there was no reviews. I like that the headboard is firm but soft so that my LO won’t injure himself in case of accidentally hitting it. Overall a super cute bed and my LO loved it.
