Women's Short Sleeve Brushed Knit T-Shirt - A New Day™

I bought blue and tan (which is more of a greife). When I opened the package I was hit by the odor, but thought surely a wash would handle it. Several washes later, the blue is less smelly, but the tan still reeks. It makes whatever is in the wash load have the odor, too. It's just a shame, because otherwise the shirts are lovely. I'm so sad to have to throw away good fits in pretty colors. I have to deduct all of the stars because this was a bad buy, and who can afford that in this economy?!

I love these. I know some have issue with the smell and I definitely experienced it myself but for me it’s not been quite as bothersome. If you’re between sizes, you can definitely go with your smaller size. I’m a small/medium and these are roomy enough that the small is perfect. The weight and material of them makes them feel high end and I love the neutral color options. I bought multiple; great basic and honestly, if I hadn’t seen them in-store I never would’ve gone for them based on online photos. If the smell could get handled I think this would be a fave for so many.

The shirt itself fits great! It smells horribly like chemicals. I have washed it 6 times and it still smells bad.

To echo all of the other comments, the smell is awful! No amount of washing helps. I wish I could return it.

Really nice fitting shirt, I love the feel of it but the smell…..I’ve washed the shirt 4 times already and one time I left it soaking in fabric softener to see if the smell would go away and it still smells.

I purchased in store and missed the reviews on the smell. It did smell funny but I figured a wash would kick it. 2 washes later and it still smells TERRIBLE. I really want to bring it in store for a refund.

Awful, strong chemical odor that wouldn’t go away… after 3 unsuccessful wash attempt with multiple products and fresheners. I even tried letting it air dry in the sun to see if that would remove the smell. Other than that I loved the fit and feel. And in all honesty, I smelled it prior to purchasing it in the store, but I assumed it was from manufacturing or processing plant and thought that a good washing at home would remove that factory smell.

I bought this too in multiple colors. Soft material and high end look. I would size up one size.

The shirt is a good fit and length. The fabric is really nice, but it has a STRONG chemical smell. I bought both black and beige. I washed the black one once, and the smell disappeared. I have washed the beige one twice, and the smell hasn’t faded at all. I really like the look of it, but I can’t wear it. Bummer.

I like the length. Not a cropped top but also fitted enough to look professional. The color is as pictured. Wash to steam and doesn't wrinkle easily when wearing.

First, the fabric beautiful and is a nice weight. I purchased burgundy and it isn't see through and there's no smell mentioned by others. I normally wear medium or large and the medium fit fine due to the relaxed sizing.

Disgusting smell. Like vomit. Won’t go away even after washing. Wish I could return!

Runs big. I usually wear medium, but even the extra small fit me loose all over.
