Really nice quality but standard 8 gallon trash bags do not fit in it.

This is a really nice quality trash can especially at the sale price but you cannot use standard 8 gallon bags. This can is tall and skinny not short and squat like standard 8 gallon trash cans. If you use an 8 gallon bag, it will not go all the way to the bottom of the can. If the bag gets heavy or you throw something heavy inside, the bag will dislodge from the sides and fall into the can. There is an internal bin that you can take out but I want to be able to use a bag since I don't want to constantly have to clean out the bin. I'm going to return it.

It's just as it's described, slim and has a low profile in the kitchen. The only drawback, is maybe they can put some rubber pads on the bottom. To keep it from sliding back, and you constantly have to pull it forward, to give it that 1-2 inch clearance. I might end up putting some on myself. Other than that, I would definitely recommend!
