Design Toscano Whitechapel Manor Gargoyle Wall Sconce

Loved this piece, nice detail and a nice sturdy heavy item. Only flaw I found was an issue with the attachments on the back of the gargoyle to hang him on the wall. One of these attachments was not properly embedded into the back of the gargoyle, and one of the screws holding it in place was put in sideways, and was partially sticking out.... making the back of him uneven (he wouldnt have been able to rest flush against a wall) ... and unsafe, as the screw was not properly attached. Thankfully with some handy work and a screw driver I was able to properly place the screw, fixing the issue. If I had not been able to fix this, I would have had to return it, as it would not have been safe to hang on a wall. This could have been avoided if proper care was taken during production, and if the item had been properly inspected before packaging. Other than that one issue, I did really love this piece. (lets hope it meets approval when it gets opened at Christmas! )

The pictures do not do this piece justice. Our gargoyle sconces have a sincere, sweet and attentive expression that keeps our candles tended and well guarded. These little guys are actually cute! They are more subtle than you would expect and I think that adds to their charm. My only "negative" comment would be how difficult it is to dust these guys. They have so much detail that you have to give them a bath if you don't keep after them... and I wouldn't have it any other way! We have two and are looking for places to hang more.
