I use this chair outside and have not observed any signs of wear and tear. The design is sleek and modern but still cozy. And I don’t like the way the legs look. I think it’s supposed to look like bamboo but it looks like plastic with a greenish tint. The seat is comfortable for me but I think it would not be for a bigger person. I was disappointed.

The seat and back are black breathable textilene material with a bamboo print frame. They come in a set of two. These bar stools are very comfortable. They also seem to be very durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my set of two Marseille French Bistro barstools arrived, they were packed in two separate boxes that were so light that I thought that they forgot to pack the chairs. Upon opening the boxes I found the well packed and wrapped, fully assembled chairs inside. The chairs are so light that I was concerned that they wouldn't hold my weight since I'm 270 Lbs. I was pleasantly surprised how strong and sturdy these chairs actually are. Not only did they hold my weight with ease, they are quite comfortable as well. The chairs are 30 inches high and have a bamboo look to them but they are actually metal. They give the appearance that the wrapping holds them together, however the metal is all welded together under the wrap. Overall I'm quite impressed with these chairs. They look great and I feel that they hold true to their commercial grade claim. I'm currently using these on our outdoor balcony since they are both indoor and outdoor chairs.

My only regret is not getting them earlier! I added pub table and I swear it looks like something straight out of a magazine. I spend so much more time out on the balcony/atop now and it's because of this new glow up with these chairs. I've had company over and have gotten so many compliments and even people who want to buy for themselves. I love how they stack for storage for colder weather months. Highly recommend.

It is superior quality to other chairs I have purchased recently and has so far been very hardy in the elements. Rain and heat have been no match for this chair, it's stood up to it all. The chair is attractive, seems good quality and I like the bar height of it. However it needs to come in a set of two, the stand alone chair looks strange anywhere I put it. Hopefully the other chair arrives soon and I can get a bar height table to go with it.
