Malen 20 Inch 4 Light Flush Mount with White Fabric Shade in Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used our lights in our hallway between our bedrooms and it fills the space beautifully, was incredibly easy to install, and puts out the perfect amount of light especially for the evenings. We didn't want a light that was overly bright but we also didn't want one too dim. The glass diffuse plate at the bottom of the light helps to create a very soft comforting atmosphere.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the last few years, we began to notice our original dome light fixtures in our bathroom were showing signs of wear from humidity and knew it was time for a replacement. We weren't a big fan of the dated style (2000s) and always hated how harsh the 2-bulb fixture's light was first thing in the morning. The Kichler Malen ceiling light really surprised us. A stylish, 4-bulb fixture that softened the light while providing plenty of it, what you need taking a shower first thing in the morning. Everything about this fixture embodies the polished design you'd expect from Kichler and the black metal uprights really complete the piece. We actually waited a couple weeks to submit this review because we weren't sure how we'd like the gap between the fabric shade and the glass. It really grew on us. The gap provides this unique light accent that elevates this piece from other ceiling lights. Installation was simple and took 30 minutes removing the old fixture and installing Malen light. This is a high quality light fixture, so it has some weight to it. Ensure the fixture box you're mounting it to is very secure to avoid an unleveled gap between the ceiling and the fixture. We highly recommend the Malen ceiling light to anyone looking to add a stylish accent with medium intensity light to their space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really well made flush mount light fixture. It is very large so do not buy without measuring very well. I would say this may not be a light for beginners for that reason. It is a very stylish light that I think would go in any room and give it just that extra detail to make special. I would love this light in any room. It is a bit confusing to assemble with not a super detailed instruction manual that I would prefer but a well skilled professional would probably have no trouble. Like I said this is very large and would need a rather large room to look good and it really gives off the light that would be overwhelming to a small room. I have 12 foot ceilings and large rooms so it is perfect for me. I love the matte black detail against the slightly off white shade. And the shade is fabric and the light comes with a white covered glass piece. Overall I am satisfied with this light and think it really enhances the room.

It can go with almost any theme you have going on! It gets off great light, nothing insanely bright or ridiculously dim. This IS a flush mount style light, so placement is key with this one, haha! The material appear to be good quality. And have a mentioned the design is great?! Haha! I just cant get over how simple the design is, but still so amazing. All in all, we love this light!
