The wiring in the base is prepped and ready to go for installation and long enough to reach any tight knit places. My spouse has been so happy with the quality of the light, she brags about the beautiful bronze color that goes with her farmhouse kitchen perfectly.

I decided to use it under a counter to highlight a series of outlets that are in a dark corner, and it illuminates it perfectly. The light bronze color is very complementary it to my kitchen. Insulation is extremely easy their instructions include diagrams and all hardware necessary, except the light bulb. This late does shine down like a little spotlight, and does not illuminate a large area, something to keep in mind.
