This is my second purchase of this amazing game cart. I’m replacing the original one purchased years ago. The air tires balance the load evenly which makes for smooth and easy pulling. The way the four tires rotate on a single axle is an engineering marvel. I’ve pulled game over logs as tall as the tires with amazing success. The only difficulty I’ve experienced in the raw woods is if a vine gets inside the tires and the load. Just back up and untangle. I would and have recommend this product to all my friends.

I’m a 68 year old serious public land bow hunter. The Hawk cart has always exceeded my expectations of handling weight and terrain! I’ve done a few modifications to accommodate the cart so it could fit behind my e-bike. Highly recommend this product!

Being a 67 year old hunter, and after much research, I bought this cart 2 years ago for big game mountain hunting. In my opinion, the distinguishing feature of this game cart, which sets it above the rest, is that all the weight rests on four wheels making it much easier to use under pressure. The rest of the game carts are more of a balancing act. True, I am limited to using mountain roads and trails to get around, however, I've aged out of being a cliff climber anyway. The wheel mechanism is icing on the cake. If I decide to drop camp, the Hawk Crawler carries my entire camp into the backcountry. The wheels are great and stay inflated because I take care of them. I normally debone my game meat for a one-trip haul. I did have to add an additional bolt to the handles to keep the handles from coming loose. I also added a couple of luggage straps to hold the load in place. I added a bicycle chain to chain my cart to a nearby tree when I move into position for a shot. I can develop my whole hunting technic around using this cart!

I've owned my Hawk Crawler for two hunting seasons now. It has become as essential as my rifle. I'd compare my Hawk Crawler as essential as a grocery cart is at the grocery store. All the weight is centered upon four wheels making it easier to haul gear and game meat in and out of the wilderness. It's construction is sturdy and the wheel axles work great. The manufacturer wisely refrained from adding a motor to it because more and more states are prohibiting the use of motorized vehicles on trails and forest roads during hunting season. I added a second bolt to the handle because the one bolt has a tendency to loosen with weight in the cart. The fabric is tough and washable. I also added a tow harness to help pull my cart and some tie downs to keep my load secure in the cart. I'm a DIY solo elk and mule deer hunter, so I view my cart as my, "Little Mule." I've had no problem with the wheels staying inflated in the field. I reckon a person could overload the cart with too much weight causing damage, but my cart has hauled out a complete deboned cow elk in one trip with no problem. Its well worth the money!

Being 67 years old, I bought this for my DIY solo rifle elk hunts. I normally need to debone my elk for everything to fit in one trip. I love my cart because all the weight rides easily on four wheels. I only need to provide the horse power to push/pull it. I also use it to haul all my drop camp stuff in/out of the wilderness backcountry. So far, I have had no complaints and recommend it to all my friends.

This cart is as well built as can be expected. Its easy to use in mountainous terrain. However, when I need to haul meat up a mountain side, I park the game cart on a flat road or game trail at the top and backpack my meat up to it. I use luggage straps to hold everything on the cart. I love my cart because it allows me to haul all my deboned meat out in one trip losing nothing to critters between trips. While camping, I can haul my entire camp into the back country in one trip.

A 66 year old elk hunter, I bought this game cart for hunting in the Idaho mountains. It travels easily using trails. I use it to haul my camp into the wilderness and my game and camp out. If it wasn't for my game cart, I would have already aged-out of solo hunting. But now, I can hunt for years to come. Adding a pull harness to my cart has really helped. I added a bicycle chain so I can chain it to a tree when not in use. Although motor vehicles and bicycles have been banned from use during hunt season, most states have made allowances for using game carts on trails. Check with your local forestry dept. All the weight rests upon the four wheels. All I have to do is push to pull it along easily.

I have used this cart for 2 seasons now, and it is amazing regarding its ability to go over obstacles, as well as be used as a trailer for my e-bike. I just hauled a 300 lb buck out of the nastiest woods possible, and then attached it to my e-bike to haul it another 2 miles to my truck. The one thing you MUST make sure of is how tight all the bolts are. I have lost one of the two grey wing nut fasteners for the handle, and am waiting for Hawk to send me a replacement. I am right in the middle of deer season, so I will probably just go to the hardware store to get a wing nut and plastic washer of some kind until Hawk sends me the replacement part. Other than making sure things are tight, this thing has been a game changer for me.

I've had my cart for a couple years now and this thing is a beast. Goes right over logs and rocks way easier than any other cart I've seen. Only issue I have is a couple of the bolts that are on the one wheel just came off and the tire is now leaking and won't hold any air and you cannot just buy replacements wheels. If it wasn't for that would be a 5 star rating.

I bought this game cart for use in mountainous big game rifle hunting. I'm 65 years old but in reasonably good shape for my age. I take my game cart with me initially as I head out into the wilderness. I usually hike 2-3 miles from the road. Once I start my spot and stock, I leave my backpack with my game cart so I can stock in for a shot. When hide hunting, I simply park my game cart nearby and cover it with camouflage netting. The Hawk Crawler is RUGGED and easy to use. It'll go wherever my old body can take it. I don't worry about a flat tire. The air will only deflate so far, but the tire never goes completely flat because of the special foam inside. I have no problem dealing with obstacles on the trail. I can easily travel with four (quartered) game bags and some gear tied on. I have added a tow harness to make pulling a little easier while leaving my hands free. One thing to think about nowadays is; If you have to make more than one trip, in bear country, for your game meat, you will more than likely loose a lot of your meat to the bears. My Hawk Crawler allows me to take it all out in one trip (up to a cow elk). Taking my crawler with me initially saves me an extra trip and possible the loss of my meat! I'm sure other makes and models of game carts are ideal for flatland deer hunting, but they don't really perform - off trail - as well in mountainous terrain as the Hawk Crawler.
