Q: Are these breakable?

A: Hello Lori - Glad you stopped by! These are resistant to breakage especially compared to a ceramic plate, but under extreme circumstances it is possible for these to break/crack. These plates look like glass! Plastic dinnerware has come a long way. I bought these for dinners on our back patio or to use when we have friends over with lots of kids. I love that they still look pretty.

Melamine/bought these when they were popular in the 70's, durable and pretty, but DO NOT MICROWAVE..they won't blow up or anything drastic, will crack and become very brittle

These look so high end for the price, and I love that they don’t look like melamine even though they are. They have a faux clay like look with a glazed interior. Goes with a neutral organic kitchen style.
