Q: I received 2 orders both defective. One shelf was missing a hook and the second shelf was missing part D but had 2 part Cs that will not work to finish the shelves.

I wish I would have noticed the previous reviews because I wouldn't had ordered. The hooks are breaking after a couple months of use. We only hang items on the hooks for small amounts of time. We don't leave items hanging on the hooks & they have already started just breaking off. I am hoping I can get replacement hooks.

Shelf is just ok. It’s not real wood which I didn’t expect for the price and the faux wood grain is ok. The hooks are cheap molded plastic, I think. They seems like metal but one broke just screwing it into place with a screwdriver. And the other broke as soon as I hung my jacket on it. I would return it if I hadn’t thrown away the packaging & assembled it already. Design is ok. Easy to assemble. Plan on replacing the hooks

While this shelf Looks like real wood it is definitely not. The hooks are of cheaper quality this shelf will be more decorative than functional, I'm not sure it would be of appropriate size for coats. Overall not bad for the price.

When the name of the product says "aged wood" I didn't think I needed to investigate further. However I was very disappointed to find this was composite with a laminate finish. For that reason it looked really tacky. I returned it.
