Q: Is the back finished so it could be an island?

A: I bought a shoe cabinet from this company and the back was finished. So I think it’s safe to probably assume this is finished on the back. The shoe cabinet I bought was worth every penny.

We are using to put trash in, keeps out smell and looks very nice in our home. The only funny thing is that if you open too wide it makes a funny clicking sound that can make you think you broke something but you didn’t! :) otherwise there were some signs of paint removal when we first bought it, but we didn’t mind as it looks amazing compared to a regular trash can and I love storing the trash bags in the top drawer.

At first husband was annoyed spending money on those our trash can without a lid is perfectly fine. But once together and being used, he’s of course thrilled. Stays out of sight, stays clean on floor and the dog can’t get into it! Win, win, WIN! Plus a small drawer for some kitchen utensils. And it’s as aesthetically attractive!
