Deela 17 Inch 1 Light Pendant with Satin Etched Cased Opal Glass in Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Deela light pendant and was super excited about it. The first thing I noticed was the very incredible packaging that the light was packed in. It was a little difficult to get it out of the box, but I definitely appreciated the attention to detail they used to ensure that it arrived unbroken. It was molded styrofoam and didn't let the contents wiggle a centimeter. The instructions were on top and all the parts were included. The diagrams were clear and concise, and there is little issue in understanding what needed to be done. The light pendant itself was even nicer in person. I was thinking somehow that it was plastic, but it arrived and was a nice satin etched glass. It gives the pendant a warm feeling and the fixture looks amazing. Kichler makes very consistently high quality lighting. I will definitely give this 5 stars!

Installation is simple. I was able to install myself although I usually have it done by an electrician.Especially appreciate one of the extension poles being 1/2 size which made the height perfect over the table. Very thoughtful design element. The shape fits perfectly with a rectangular table. Having 8 bulbs spreads the light, evenly down the table, especially if it is on a dimmer. Highly recommend the company and this light.

I put these in my basement kitchenette and they add the perfect touch. They aren’t too large or super obvious but don’t disappear either. They’re a good height and work well in any size environment. If also love that it’s more matte without being flat!

This is hanging over our small breakfast nook. The glass is frosted. It provides ample light and takes a regular light bulb.

You can adjust the length for what you need. It's easy to put together and a great accent to any decor.

I'm not very advanced on electrical work but this wasn't hard to do at all. I really like that the length is adjustable, I put it up over my kitchen sink area to make it a little brighter in that area. I love the design of this, it's a really gorgeous look that can go with many different aesthetics.

The replacement took about 20 minutes. He had no problem installing it. It came with easy to folllow instructions, (my husband is not a contractor). The light has a nice weight to it, it is well made and very attractive. It is a nice addition as I am in the process of updating my kitchen.

We had really old light fixtures in our kitchen that were in serious need of updating. This was my first choice. I wanted a beautiful pendant light to hang above our kitchen sink. This light has an adjustable length which is amazing. We were able to decide how to low above the sink it would hang and it was super easy to change the length multiple times. It’s a very modern and sleek design so it can be added into many different design themes. It works lovely on our vaulted ceiling. The lamp shape was made very well and is a very thick, beautiful white frosted glass. It’s very durable. It was incredibly easy to install. Although, I have an important reminder/pointer for installation after we had an unfortunate accident while installing. Remember to take the lamp shade off before installing. Not only will it be easier to do without the extra weight of the lamp shade but it also will protect it from breaking. We had a screw slip (my husband’s fault) as we were installing it so the whole light fell onto our sink, shattering the beautiful white glass shade. I was so sad. It damaged our black quartz sink and gave my husband stitches in his toe. This was our fault entirely. We were excited to get it installed and did so quickly, right before expecting company. We wanted them to see our new light. Because we were in a hurry, we did things a little too quickly. We replaced the lamp shade with a similar shape but sadly, we couldn’t find a white frosted glass like the one it came with. We still love the pendant but we loved it more with the white glass. Thank you to Kichler for choosing us to receive this beautiful light for free in exchange for a review. We LOVE it.
