The design is attractive and the teal color just happened to match the colors I have in the dining room. They are sturdy dishes. Both the large and smaller plates are a good size. Bigger than some dishes. I love the bowls. They are the perfect size for soups and any type of casserole type dish. Just the right size for using as the dish for the meal itself. All in all a very nice set of dishes.

They are wider and more shallower than the typical bowl and it just perfect for my family. You won't be disappointed with these dishes.

I was drawn in by the fun colors (I'm a sucker for yellow) and the price point, but I had sort of low expectations. I have to way though, I am honestly wowed by these. They have a nice glaze so they don't scratch at all using cutlery on them. They wash easily. My 5yo dropped one the other day and it didn't even chip. They're hefty, but not too heavy. And I love love love the bowls.
