This Luxury Edition features a furniture quality wooden cabinet base with burled wood veneer panels, die-cast metal SCRABBLE name plaques on 2 sides, a built-in storage drawer with die-cast metal drawer pull, and is topped by a rotating wooden game board with a faux leather SCRABBLE game surface that features a raised letter tile grid to keep the letter tiles in place. The game board top is held in place for each player by magnets strong enough to keep the top steady, but still allowing the players to rotate the board to the next player for a better view during their turn. The rotation is smooth and quiet and the magnets hold the board firmly at the end of each quarter turn of the board.
