These are the batting gloves my daughter has been using for several seasons. I picked her up a new pair today at our Dick's sporting goods store to replace her previous pair. She went to batting practice tonight and within an hour she had blisters forming on her hands. She has NEVER had a blister forming with these gloves. She told me that the padding felt thinner than normal so she pulled out her previous set of gloves and sure enough, it was much thicker than the new pair. I also went to purchase a new pair of Mizuno pants today as well, again she wore the same style of pants for several seasons now. I pick up a pair and hold them up to confirm they were the correct size and they were SEE THROUGH (black pants). Check another pair, the same thing, can see straight through them. I do not know why the quality is diminishing but I ultimately purchased a different brand of pants today and now we are on a search for batting gloves that are not going to cause blisters.
