Although designed for use while sitting or standing, using it in a standing position is nearly impossible and quite challenging. The monitor, powered by a replaceable battery, tracks metrics such as total strides, time, and calories burned, though the accuracy of the calorie count is compromised as it registers calories burned running even it is done in a sitting position. Despite these drawbacks, this equipment offers reasonable value for its price considering its portability, ease of use and light workout.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free Stamina in option E1000 Compact Lower Body Cardio Workout Strider Machine by Spreetail in exchange for my honest review. Upon receiving the machine I noticed how heavy and well made it is. I put it together in under 10 minutes, it was super easy. The photos show people standing on this for use-I would say that is not really going to give you the greatest workout, it would be more to improve balance as the stride is very small. Too small to be effective while standing. As a seated cardio machine it is wonderful. It counts your stride or time which I thought was very cool for making goals. The resistance levels are also large enough to give someone brand new a challenge or a seasoned athlete some cardio. I shared this product with my dad as well who is 75 years old. He has trouble walking or standing for long periods because of hip pain. This gives him a way to exercise safely and without pain. It is pretty easily portable but is a bit heavy. It would be great to have under your work desk to get some movement while sitting for hours! All in all a very well made product.

It works well but I think it’s more suited for someone with a desk job, so they can use it while sitting. It’s tricky doing it standing up, you have to have really good balance and even then, there’s always the risk of falling. Not noisy at all! But definitely heavy to move around.

It keeps track of distance, time and calories. Also has a tension knob. It’s great for small places and to use under a desk. Unlike a full size elliptical it’s easy to bring to any room in my home.

The leg strider glides so smoothly and is sound quiet. I am able to pedal fast or slow and still feel my upper and lower legs burn. This is a great exercise for when watching tv - the time goes by so fast you don’t even know it. I really enjoy using this stride glider and it will definitely be part of my daily exercise regime.

I still need to try the standing option. I 100% recommend it! I love that it has different intensities. I wish it had some sort of mechanism to keep my feet from moving, but so far, so good!

I love this for a single reason…this is not my TO GO workout but it’s my choice on those days where I didn’t have time to go to the gym or on a walk and I want to complete my daily movement. Assembly was easy and everything you needed was provided! The strider actually does work standing and sitting. I personally prefer it standing because it works your abs and legs/hips. It is much quieter than I expected too. My husband or I can’t hear it in the opposite room (or downstairs) when one of us is using it. Bonus that it accommodates large and small feet. I’m a 6.5 shoe and my husband is a 13. I would definitely recommend especially for small spaces and apartments because of the low noise/impact!

It has potential to get you some noticeable results with continuous use and maybe some additional modifications to your workout (think adding weights or other full body movements). Love that it is so compact, and I can use it while working at my desk. However, that does come with a bit of a compromise, the stride size. For me, it took me a little longer to get used to the shorter stride and wish it was just slightly bigger. But, that increase would make it less compact, which is the selling point. All in all, it serves a purpose, and it's convenient. I would recommend it for anyone working from home.
