Meddling with Mistletoe by Liz Johnson is the perfect light-hearted holiday romance to warm your heart. And autumn is NOT too early to start reading Christmas books, but it will make you yearn for the season–so beware! I loved the grumpy-sunshine combination of Daniel and Whitney and the cozy setting of the Red Door Inn. (Those cute kiddos are definite romance conspirators!) The chemistry between Daniel and Whitney is as sweet and warm as her baked goods. And there are plenty of giggles to be had around those two, which makes this story the perfect stress-reliever during the busiest time of the year. You’re going to love all the unique characters in this touristy Prince Edward Island town. Watching Daniel, Whitney, and the kids enjoys the smaller joys of life despite the chilly weather will make you itch to grab your Christmas decor. (Just me?) Overall, I love this kind of story: light and fun. I looked forward to walking into the Red Door Inn at the end of my day. Fans of Christian contemporary romance will enjoy Meddline with Mistletoe. I was given a copy of this book by the publisher with no expectations of a positive review. All opinions are my own.

Genre: Christmas, Christian Fiction, Contemporary Romance Troupe: Matchmaking, strangers to lovers, forced proximity, Found purpose Steam level: Just Kissing (Sweet/Clean Romance) Audience: I would say 16+ (If you let your kids watch hallmark movies that are cheesy then the book is perfectly fine for a young adult to read) I would let my teenage cousin read it. If the cover doesn't draw you in, I truly hope that story will draw you in. I am one that does not like to spoil it, so I suggest looking at the synopsis to see if you'll like it. I enjoyed the build up for Whitney and Daniel. It wasn't a quick love at first sight. It was two people who were intentionally not looking for love, but it somehow found them. Bless Arethas heart for her desire to see others find love. Yet, sometimes we are too deep into ourselves and what we think is best for others, that we miss out in seeing the special in others. I absolutely would recommend this book. It was the perfect amount of sweetness that you get from a sweet Christmas romance. It felt like a hallmark movie book. I will say though hallmark movies are predictable, they are still lovely and that's why I enjoyed this book. It wasn't too predictable. There were moments that that I didn't see coming. Minimal angst and drama. It felt more real if that makes sense. I did dislike the parents. That is all I will say lol This was an absolutely cute book to read. I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. A few swoons moments that melted my heart. I even drank a nice hot cup of cocoa as I was reading this book because it just felt right. haha. I will be happy to add this book to my bookshelf and tell others about it. It is a book that I would reread. Thank you Revell for this beautiful complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are of my own.

Meddling with Mistletoe" by Liz Johnson is a great holiday book. As you read this book you will probably think about what an amazing holiday movie for the hallmark channel this would make. This book has it all romance, humor and family. I really loved all the characters and the storyline. The book was a very easy read and made you feel like you were right there. The main two characters were great! Whitney has a dream and what will she to achieve it. Daniel is a lonely man with past hurts. Will the mistletoe bring them together! I received this complementary advance copy from the publisher for a honest review. All thoughts and opinions are mine and mine alone
