i recently had the handle/latch break on this unit. how do i go about ordering a replacement?

I thoroughly enjoy this quesadilla maker, but like the other reviews, after a year or so, the handle broke. Unfortunately I can't replace it either.

This quesadilla maker will cook your quesadillas as you wish. But just like every review below, the handle WILL break. The handle is not a replaceable part, according to the parts supplier contracted with George Foreman. Save yourself the headache and get something else.

We loved this quesadilla maker the first time we used it. It was so easy and made great quesadillas. However, the second time we used it the handle broke off and it doesn’t cook evenly now. I haven’t had it even a month yet. Can it be returned or replaced?

I just received this unit two days ago and it was great first use. On the second try the handle broke and it doesn’t lock in anymore. Disappointed in quality.

I bought a George Forman Quesadilla Maker last year and have used it only a handful of times. Very disappointed that the handle has broken and we can no longer lock it when cooking. I do like the deeper sections but quite displeased the lock has broken. Can you send me a replacement part?

We've loved this for the 9 months we've had it but even with using it about once a week the latch broke and now it doesn't cook evenly if you have more than cheese in the quesadilla.

I purchased this without much hopes but was pleasantly surprised after using it the first time. I continue to use it because I can throw together a Quesadilla in a matter of minutes. I get to choose the ingredients and cook it exactly the way I want it. It cleans easily with a paper towel. The only thing I wish they did was have a spring loaded hinge in the rear which will allow it to cook thinker Quesadillas. I would absolutely recommend this appliance to anyone!

After about 8 or 9 uses the handle broke off. How do I get replacement parts? Or my money back? Please help. It was a great quesadilla maker until the handle broke.

On second use the latch broke and a piece fell into the quesadilla, glad I did not break a tooth. Can you remedy this problem please because I will use this a lot if working properly.

I bought this for my parents mid May and the latch broke the 2nd time used. They were extremely disappointed. Is there any way to replace the latch? Please advise.

I have the exact same problem like other reviewers. The latch broke. I can fix it if you send me the latch part. My model# GFQ001. The number on the latch is TSK-2304QD. My wife and I love it and our grandkids, too! But now is broken.

I have had my quesidilla maker for a couple of years but have used it only a handful of times. The latch started cracking after only using it 3 or 4 times. I was careful with it making sure not to completely break it off, but it did happen this week. The way the latch is made, doesn't leave any room for error at all. It is tough to latch and you need to press down pretty hard on the grill to close it. Oh and about that....potholder is definitely needed as the grill is hot even in spots where you need to touch it just to close it. The product works great, but I feel the design could be better!

Thought it was great while it worked but I only used this 3 times and the latch fell apart .... Not impressed Will see if I can get a replacement latch because I do like this grill if I can get a new latch.

I bought this item a month ago because my family likes cheese and chicken quesadillas, so I thought this would be a good product.Well tonight I used it for the third time to make dinner and every time I closed it, pieces of it broke off. the black latch is only hanging on by one side and not the red pieces attached to the latch are starting to break.

Recently used for first time. Great size for larger tortillas. Holds lots of filling and seals well. I love it!!

I really really love my quesadilla maker. I still use it even though it is falling apart (probably not the best idea, admittedly). It makes quesadillas super fast and easy. Unfortunately, like I said, it's falling apart. The handle broke within the first couple of uses and the electrical cord isn't very long at all. My counter space is limited where I have plugs and I would love to have a longer cord. I am going to be replacing mine shortly because of the broken handle (I can't latch the lid nor can I lift it up without the use of a towel or oven mit) and I think I'm going to see if I can't find something that is a little better quality.
