1.purchased on sale -- so kept. however when compared to similar product at local large supply store there was an almost exact unit much less expensive and made with similar materials. 2.Discovered instructions missing one key step -- 3. Directions are visual images only - no text - only good for those brains that process images -

This is a beautiful shelf and very sturdy. Has a textured board which I prefer. I needed something to go in my living room while still creating a nice clean looking environment and this was absolutely perfect.
