I got these on clearance for $40 orig $99 and it was not really worth it in my opinion. The download time for each disk takes awhile. I also could not get the Zen disk to work at all. Each story disk comes with about 2 stories each and they’re $14 each which can really add up. The material on the ear muff is super soft but also feels like it might rip easily if poked just right. The app is not really user friendly either. It’s a cute concept but this wasn’t executed well for something geared for kids ages 3 and up.
Totally recommend these storyphones for parents to keep their kids entertained

Totally love this for kids that love storytime and love how you can buy more disc to change stories. These headphones are very durable and battery life is great. Sound quality is very good and they were super comfortable to wear. Totally recommend these for parents to keep their kids entertained at home or on the road.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 4 year old is using these Storyphones Storytelling Headphones and loves them! I didn't experience any problem downloading the app or the Storyshield. The Storyshield took about 10 minutes and now she can listen on her own even with no wifi. These are going to make our next plane trip a breeze. Three headset fits her perfectly. The ear pieces are soft, seem comfortable and stay in place over her ears. I love that I'm able to control the volume via the app so she isn't turning them up too loud. The charge last a very long time so she isn't crying that the battery is dead. If it does happen to die or I forget to charge it, it can be plugged into my phone with the included wire. The stories are cute. We have bought additional Storyshields and are planning on buying more so she has a bigger variety. I like that there is an included bag to keep the headset, charging cable, wire and Storyshield together so they don't get lost.

I love the idea behind these headphones, giving a way for your kiddo to enjoy a story without a screen needed, but the steps needed to set up the app, and even with the story disk you have to download it. Also to get more disks can add up in costs, so that is something to take into consideration before getting them. My son said they are really comfortable and soft, but they were such a hassle to use, and only having the one story disk really meant that they never got enough use to test battery life. I think this could be geared towards a toddler, or MAYNE a preschool aged kid but any older and it probably won’t meet your needs.

The StoryShields cover a variety of characters that your kids will definitely be familiar with, and the perforations are Mickey-shaped which is just adorable. I love that it comes with a carry bag so I can keep everything together and not risk losing the charging cable!

They seem like they may break easily. Overall I would say it is a good product. The battery dies pretty quick.

I had to download an app, connect them to Wi-Fi, download the story and after doing everything I couldn't listen. Then I put them on charge even though they were already charged but after I did that I could heard the story perfectly. My child who is 6 years old doesn't want to take them off. It was just his birthday and that was one of his gifts and he was happy. It comes with an extension to connect it with other headphones and he can share them with his brother. These headphones are wonderful when traveling, whether it is a long car or plane trip. The headphones are very comfortable and an excellent option to keep the little ones entertained. My child listens to them during the day and before going to sleep. The headphones only come with a story shield, if I want another one , it cost 10 dollars each, I would have to continue investing money in addition to the price that was already paid. Overall , I like them but they are a little pricey .

It also is nicely cushioned all around for comfortability. They are well made and durable. The battery life is pretty good. And you can buy all kinds of more stories and even package deals of stories. Something for every kid to choose from. This is great to get them off YouTube and Minecraft and into reading. Definitely recommend.

Not that comfortable, she said that it gives her a headache after couple hours but it’s great for long car rides, traveling or even bed time. The design is so cute, battery life is also amazing. I would def recommend

The battery life is not great and they are not as interested in the stories. They are easier to carry around, however as the story buttons are more compact.

I gave these to my 4 year old niece and she absolutely has fallen in love with the Disney princesses and all the stories. She has listened to every book several times. They are very durable as they are made for kids, they fit very similar to the popular beats head phones. They charge very easily and rather quickly compared to most electronics. I would definitely recommend to anyone with small children or young kids in their care. It definitely keeps them occupied
