The fabric is of a nice weight and quality and the comforter fits snugly inside without having an excess of duvet cover as sometimes can happen. Do yourself a favor and look up the California Roll way of inserting your comforter inside the duvet. Here's one I found on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1IzS2oBBN0
