We’ve used it for pasta dinner serving bowl, fruit bowl, candy bowl, decorative bowl, etc. It’s beautiful and I don’t mind it sitting on the counter. Ascetically, it’s pleasing! I did deduct one star because it does scuff and I’ve been unable to remove the scuff marks. Maybe a different color wouldn’t do that?

It is beautiful and smooth and large enough for pastas or salads. It is also coated so it will not scratch or chip. I am a fan of Hosting dinner parties and have already used this several times.  it’s very versatile and I’ll recommend this to anyone who might be hosting holiday get-togethers or even a Friday night dinner.

It is the perfect compliment to any family dinner table, perfect size for sides from mashed potato’s to salad. It cleans easily after use and can be stored away until next use.

The merrifield black ceramic color and smooth texture mixed with the incredible durability of this bowl can heighten the luxury of an area. As mentioned this bowl is very versatile and can be used in the majority of the rooms in your home based on your intended use. It matches well with my other black dinnerware however the look and feel of this bowl is superior to all other dinnerwares that I own and I am proud to have this one out on display.
