Q: is this the singing doll or the fashion doll because the doll variant is different from the description

submitted by ich - 3 months ago
  • A: I think it should be the singing doll. It seems that Mattel has just uploaded the wrong pictures on their site when they re-released the doll.

  • A: Hello, Yes it is. I was worried about the same thing. just got mine today. But it is the singing Elphaba where you press the button on her stomach to have her sing. The photo they are using is wrong packaging.

  • A: Yes this is it...I ordered it for pickup. I noticed the pictures online were not matching either after the fact.

Q: Is this the orginal package universal pictures wicked singing elphaba because i donot see the orginal packaging nore the spot where button would be and also no batteries??

submitted by grandma - 3 months ago
  • A: In the product specifications it says the doll plays music and requires “3 LR44 Alkaline, Optional, Not Included” batteries, so yes, this is the Singing Elphaba doll, she just has the wrong stock images presented here.

HORRIBLE DELIVERY SERVICE

I keep ordering things that are damaged. Furthermore even if they aren’t damaged, I live in a 3 story condo building that has PO Boxes for mail boxes like you would see at the United States Postal Service. The delivery person should be taking the elevator up to my door and if they can’t even knock on the door to deliver it, they could at least leave it by the door as there is shelter over the door. They are too lazy to use the elevator or even walk up the stairs if the elevator is not working (and we have a brand new elevator) to deliver a package that will not fit into a mailbox so they leave it downstairs in front of all of the small mailboxes where someone could steal it. If had not been home this probably would’ve happened. This is ridiculous and completely unacceptable. Target needs to start hiring people with work ethic who will actually deliver items to where they need to be delivered and stop being so lazy.

This is a must buy for any wicked movie fan! The outfit is such nice quality for the price and the doll looks almost exactly like Cynthia Erivo, who plays elphaba in the movie!

I was excited to see this back in stock! When I got the notification I ordered immediately my 3yr old who is currently OBSESSED with the soundtrack ( w/ never have seeing the movie either 😅). I already got her the Glinda singing doll prior as well. Only disappointment was while I love the 2 snippets of the song included it was a HUGE miss not including THE big final note she does smh. Also the hat does not stay on very well sadly 😕 Lastly the dress on this one is a bit drab I wish they had done like the cape and included a broom too considering the song she sings. Still a nice doll but price point should be closer to $15-$17 imo with all these missing details.

Target has wrong photo, not same Elphaba doll

4 out of 5 stars
ang - 3 months ago, Verified purchaser
The doll sings just like it’s supposed too, but the doll in the photo that’s on Target’s website is NOT the singing doll. My daughter’s first question was, “Where’s the purse?” Followed by, “Why won’t the arms move at the elbows like in the picture?” Then, “That’s not the same dress as in the picture!” She still likes it and wants to keep it, but was a little disappointed and confused.
