I purchased 5 of these breathalyzers for gifts, I have had one for a few years myself. As I told my family it's not so much to see how much you can drink and promote drinking. It's an insurance policy to make sure the person that is driving is ok to drive. I feel it is convenient and accurate.

My sisters bf is a cop and we compared it to his breathalyzer and it works just the same. It fits right on my keychain. You can check your level at any time and it also has an app where you can link it and view your results and it calculates the amount of time it will take until you're within legal limits. This is the perfect way to make safe decisions!

I have had this thing in my possession for three weeks and because I have a intoxalock in my car I wanted to test it so I paired the BACTrack to my phone and then I used the intoxalock and they both had the same results so as far as I am concerned this product works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd BacTrack device. The first one was the BacTrack Mobile. It worked great, and I liked the way the app worked on my phone. But I wanted a smaller device to carry around, so I ordered the BacTrack C6. It seems to warm-up and be ready for me to blow a bit faster than the Mobile, and I appreciate the easy-to read display right on the device (so I don't have to use my phone). But it can still connect to the Phone App if I decide I want to keep track of my readings. Great product, and I have already shown it to friends and recommended it to them.

I carry the C6 with me when I go out, and find it very handy to answer the question," can I have another drink". If I am driving ,I don't want to be anywhere near the legally impaired limit. This unit is small, and easy to use, and affordable. . ( I also have an S80, which is kept in the car).

I have purchased 6 BACtrack C6 models now. I make everyone blow in the BACtrack prior to leaving my house if they have been drinking and plan to drive. Everytime there is an 18th, 21st or "0" birthday I gift this. Fits on your car keys, so convenient in size. I have stopped 8 friends so far from drink driving! The morning after is so interesting with the results. A MUST have in every house hold!

A friend had a generic breathalyzer that we did a side by side test. IMHO the BackTrac C6 won hands down. The generic varied very little while the C6 increased proportional to the alcohol consumed. Not scientific but as good as I'm going to get without law enforcement getting involved.

I Own the S80 and the C6 and they're great. If u only drink here and there get this one. If u drink a lot like me I got the S80. S80 I have used 700 times because it tells u. The C6 probably 400 times it doesn't tell u. They are so close in accuracy between the 2. I send mine in for calibration just for the heck of it when it hits the 700 mark. It's nice to have 2 but this one will be accurate. After a awhile u can do the math on the readings. I have it down to the hour. Lol

With the different amounts of alcohol that can be found in them I found myself not able to tell if I had too much to drink to drive myself home even if I counted my drinks and calculated the time that would be safe to drive. I have been out several times and I believe it is helping me make good decisions about when I am not able to drive myself. I keep it in my purse. It is tiny and discrete....(although I love to show it to my friends.) I would purchase it again....I also think it would be a great gift for a 21st birthday. (I know a lot of friends when I was younger and even now that could have saved themselves a lot of trouble if they had objective data when they were making their decisions.) (It is easy for some people to say "Just take an Uber...." It would cost me over $40 one way to get home....so this has paid for itself in just one night out.)
