I have been trying to find a good cleaner for the fake turf for training. I finally found that Tide Ultra Oxi Odor Control works amazingly. Since I cannot run the turf through the washing machine, I hand wash in a tub with a bit of Tide and warm water. I have three small dogs in an apartment so these get washed often and this is the only thing I can find to work that doesn't ruin the turf. Thank you, Tide.

This is by far the worst smelling detergent I've ever used, it's highly offensive. Other people weren't kidding, it stinks up the place. I can't wait to be rid of this stuff and I'll be going back to fragrance free.

We switched to this and used it for the first time today. I am actually embarrassed wear any of these clothes in public as the smell is so overwhelming. And I used a smaller amount!

I usually buy Tide Liquid - April Fresh Downy but thought I would try Tide Ultra Oxi Odor instead. Did some laundry with Ultra Oxi and ended up having to re-do it over again with a different detergent as the Ultra Oxi left a very unpleasant odor on the laundry. I was very disappointed in it and sorry I wasted money on this product. I will stick with April Fresh and try to give away the Ultra Oxi I bought.

Used Tide for years. Currently running my third load of the same wash with no detergent trying to get the awful smell of this detergent out of my clothes. Disgusting and overpowering. Going to the store for a new detergent.

Thank you for accepting my call as I was provided the additional information that the scent has been updated in October 2023. In my opinion, the "old" scent was the best cleanest and most comforting smell that I adored it. The new scent is nothing spectacular and I am now in a search for a similar "old" smell of Tide Ultra Oxi Odor had to offer. Please bring it back!

You recently changed the scent. Why? The original scent was nice. This new scent stinks. I kept wondering what I was smelling. As it turned out, it was the detergent. And it wasn’t pleasant. Please go back to the original or find something that smells better.

I had stopped using Tide for quite some time and switched to Presil THEN ... Tide came out with the Oxi Odor eliminator!! I tried it as soon as I saw it and LOVE it!! My husband works outdoors and his clothes just smell terrible even after a really good wash...they just didn't smell clean! NOW... They do! I even use less of this Tide, then any of the others! I do NOT understand all the bad reviews about the smell ! Maybe they are using to much... IDK but this is by far the BEST detergent I have used! Thanks Tide for a GREAT product! Please don't stop making this one!

We've been Tide customers for years, but this "ultra Oxi odor eliminator" has turned us away from your brand. We bought it for our dog blankets, but the chemical smell from the detergent has permeated the entire house, given us headaches and our dogs keep sneezing. Had to open doors and windows, worried about our budgies. Why in the world would you think heavy chemical odors would "eliminate" other odors???

Forever a TIDE fan until now! The new spell of Tide OxiOdor is horrendous. It has permeated my house and I am very annoyed. It smells so bad - I am considering buying a new detergent brand and re-washing 5-loads of laundry!

Recently switched to Tide from a different strong armed detergent which hammered out dirt and odors (boosted by H2O2). Tide ULTRA WITH OXI ODOR ELIMINATORS STAIN ODOR ELIMINATORS was my go to until for what ever reason the scent changed leaving our freshly washed clothes smelling foul to the point we all felt nauseous. Thought it was the washing machine so ran several cleaning cycles with various washing machine cleaners (made specifically for cleaning washing machines) but to no avail. Ugh… Unless there are specific health or safety concerns with the original scent/formula, please revert back ASAP. P.S. would like an honest and fully transparent explanation as to what was changed and the true reason why.

They recently changed it and it is TERRIBLE. So fake smelling, strong, overwhelming. I can’t even wear my clothes that I washed in this new detergent because it’s nauseating. Why change something that people like? They ruined this detergent.

I have been changing detergents within the Tide family due to them changing the scents. I found this one and the smell wasn't too overpowering and it also got rid of odors really well. I recently purchased a bottle with the new "scent" and it is overpowering and stinky. I don't know if it is a floral smell or a woodsy smell but it stinks and lingers like a cheap cologne. I swear the people that make these changes have nothing else better to do but ruin good scented detergent. They should put these new "scents" in their own detergent line and see if people actually want it. Stop reformulating the scents as they stink. Fire the people that keep doing this!

Almost every competitor uses a removable plastic spout in their bottles. Remove plastic spout, invert bottle, drain enough liquid for another load or two. Tide glues the cap. So many aren’t getting to use all that they paid for.
