This shelf was easy to put together, great instructions, and very sturdy. It’s exactly as pictured and fits my space perfectly. There are pre drilled holes for the black decorative brackets, for those wondering if they can simply be left off.

I bought two of these bookcases. While they are typical particle board as expected, the design does a good job at hiding most of the connection points. The wood framing on the front of the shelves makes th shelves look thick but they are actually very thin. And the metal piece on the corners by each shelf add a really nice touch and also help it to be much more sturdy. When I attached those, everything kind of pulled in to be tight. The only thing that I didn't like is that the back is three separate pieces. When they are attached, it's nearly impossible to the seams tight enough so you don't see the side of the panels which are light brown. I removed the panels and painted all of the edges black so it looks more seamless.

Ordered two bookcases in black and the company sent me rustic gray. They are now sold out of black.
