Veggiecraft Rotini Pasta Peas, Lentils and Cauliflower - Case of 6/8 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Cauliflower Rotini and used it in a pasta dish. It was very tasty and it was much more healthy with vegetables as the ingredients. Trying to cut down of flour based products and this is a great way to start.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very curious bout This pasta. Unfortunately the one I most wanted to try wasn’t available at my store. I ended up trying the rotini but had wanted to try the zucchini penne as zucchini is one of my most favorite vegetables. I don’t like the vegetables that made up the rotini so was concerned that would color my opinion. I tasted the pasta with and without sauce. I thought something was a little off plain, but can’t figure out what. But was surprised with sauce how similar it tasted to regular pasta. However it seemed much more dense, felt like a brick in my stomach. For me I’d rather eat normal pasta with vegetables added. However, I can see this being a great alternative for kids or anyone who doesn’t like vegetables as I doubt they would ever know.

Just good ingredients. I like adding veggies this way. I feel like my dish is more healthy. I would get this more often but it was hard to find. I like that it is ready for me to use in the pantry. It didn't take long to put a dish together. It was good with bok choi in my sauce.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Using the rotini, I made a lactose free mac and cheese which worked out wonderfully. The texture held up, al dente comparable to standard pasta, and the pasta taste did not overpower the cheese sauce. Instead the pasta had a neutral taste, suited for marinara or other sauces. Especially great is the added protein plus veggies the pasta integrates into your diet--gaining enough protein is a necessary challenge for those interested in maintaining muscle mass. Aside from a beanie/pea scent after boiling and draining, I find this pasta flawless!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Trust me, buy the rotini style. The penne actually tastes like cardboard, but the rotini taste great. I'm not sure what's the difference between the creation recipes, but there's a distinct difference between the two var varieties.
