This rug is really thin. Definitely needs the cushion pad under it which really adds to the price. I expected quite a bit more thickness for a rug advertised as a shag rug. The color is on the dark side, not at all light grey. I ordered the 9x12. It is about 8 and 3 inches, not 9. That's a lot on a rug that size. Overall nice rug but would only buy it if on sale.
