I am very happy with my purchase. It it incredibly soft and warm. It also tones down the echo in our room more than previous rugs. My son sometimes falls asleep on it and is not a child that will fall asleep anywhere. The only downfall is losing small toys in it, one corner curls which can be fixed), and you need a vacuum with good suction. However nothing beats how soft this rug is.

The rug is soft and thick. I was worried to get the other type of shag with more yarn-like fibers, but this is the more modern softer kind. I bought a very large one (10X13) because at the time it was cheaper than the slightly smaller version. I didn't anticipate how thick it would be—it's a struggle to open my closet door. But once I put this rug down it wasn't going back, that's for sure. It totally changes how my bedroom feels for the better. It does absorb some sound, and make the room feel cozy. I was worried about new carpet smell, but it was minimal in my opinion. I'd advise anyone to just open your window a bit to help with that. Also, this rug is not soft on the reverse side, so I do recommend a carpet pad. I bought a wool one for my wood floor. The shipping was very fast.

I bought this rug to style up my living room, and it was better than that. It’s so confortable that my kids have prefer to sleep in the living room instead of their rooms. I asked why they have been doing that and they said “because it so confortable and we like it.” it’s been a week :)
