A: Hi there. Thank you for your interest in our Snack Pack Pudding Chocolate. We'd like you to know that: Unopened Snack Pack Pudding and Gels are shelf-stable and do not require refrigeration. SP is made with a special heat process much hotter than pasteurization temperatures so the unopened product is safe without refrigeration. Must be stored in a cool, dry place until ready to eat. SP may be refrigerated and then brought back to room temperature before consuming. They are safe as long as they are unopened. Opened Snack Pack (which includes that used in recipes) should be refrigerated to ensure food safety and quality. The maximum time it can be refrigerated is three (3) days. After three days it must either be consumed or discarded. Do NOT Freeze. Thanks again for reaching out to us.

I used to eat Snack Pack Pudding all the time as a kid and LOVED them. Saw them at the store recently and bought a pack and was super excited to get home to eat some. To my surprise, they tasted horrible and nothing like they used to. They are now super watery and lack flavor. I'm not sure how or why they changed the recipe, but its definitely for the worse. I actually had to look to see if they used milk because it didn't taste like they did. If you're hoping for a blast from the past when buying these, expect to be disappointed because they're nothing like they used to be.

Definitely not like I remember as a kid. The Chocolate pudding tasted watered down with no chocolate flavor. I tried them at room temp and cold from the fridge. No difference in taste. Will not buy again.

Purchased 2 four packs from Publix 1-12-2025 1 vanilla and 1 chocolate before my surgery to have on hand for a easy and tasty treat during recovery. Both packs are well within the expiry window yet after opening and tasting a spoonful of the vanilla, it was the worst tasting pudding I have ever tasted. I wasn't quite sure if the pudding needed to be mixed up but I tried that also with no change. I then opened the chocolate package and it also had the same after taste. The aftermath of chemical taste left in my mouth required me to find some breath mints just to "wash out" the residual chemical taste. Besides that, I also noticed the density of the pudding was well beyond that of the pudding I used to make with milk from a competitor. The remaining 6 unopened containers went in the trash and I'll never purchase the "Snack Pack" brands ever again.

I buy the chocolate and chocolate fudge mix cups. The fudge ones seem fine. The plain chocolate ones have a funny taste to them. I am very confused now, I was at a hospital today, and they gave me the regular chocolate flavor. It was absolutely delicious!! SO creamy, I had to make sure it was Snack Pack. The label is beige, rather than red. I brought the label home and compared them. The ingredients are the same. I would love to know why the hospital one tasted SO much better. I do not understand.

I used to enjoy this product when I bought it years ago. At that time I could be sure of the product I was buying. However, lately the product is absolutely inconsistent. I never know if I am going to get the real chocolate pudding. Although it says chocolate pudding on the cardboard package, I sometimes get a strange-tasting pack of 4, as if it had no sugar or something like that. I double checked the package, and it is definitely NOT the no sugar variety. I think you have a real problem in your quality control; the wrong variety is sometimes being packaged as regular chocolate pudding.

Every one of the snack pack puddings had a large hole in the pudding itself. Felt a little cheated, what's the problem with filling them up. It wasn't a little hole, it was at least 1/3 of "cup", or whatever it's called. Add a little more flavoring too. Have a good day.

I bought a pack for the first time ina bout a year. This isn’t pudding . It was a starchy type glob . Like refrigerated gravy ! What happened to your snak packs ? Won’t buy them again .

I have bought these for years while in the army and in school there cheap healthy and taste the best and there litterly the best for lunch packs. Only complaint is they don't sell bigger packs of just the chocolate I love the stuff
