Q: Are these sardines boneless
submitted by Karen - 2 years ago
A: This specific product is not boneless or skinless. Although this brand does have a skinless and boneless product, I don't believe Target has it. It is safe and nutritious to eat sardine bones.

These are mushy and flavorless, and left me burping fish for the rest of the day. I love sardines but these were a miss.

It hurt a little while I was in the process of unvirgening the olive oil and really giving these sardines my special sauce but it was overall really good and the whole family loves it

Love these. Great for a quick meal. Best tasting ones I've found. My daughter will eat them if I rinse and fry them up in coconut oil.
Love it!

One of my favorite brands for olive oil (Although I prefer the taste of sardines in water or sunflower oil). I would note that if you don’t like the taste of olive oil, you obviously won’t be a fan of these. I think it does enhance the fishy taste a bit but you can always season it (or add to a salad). Always good in a pinch and i think it’s pretty good quality. If you don’t like these, maybe try the ones without olive oil and see if that’s better. Either way, this brand is amazing🤍
Healthy and delicious!

Today is literally my first time trying sardines. I can’t compare the taste to others but these specific sardines (in oil) are delicious! I added hot sauce and they were perfect. The flavor and smell is comparable to crab meat, to me. I’m allergic to crab, so I’m thrilled to have an alternative if I want to make any crab dishes. Very affordable (under $5 per can) and full of nutrients. I plan to incorporate sardines into my daily diet.
Best out there!

These are the best-tasting and smelling Sardines, I have tried others, but nothing compares to how good/delicious these are. This is the only brand I will buy.

These provide many nutrients which are difficult to obtain if eating a plant based diet. Iron, calcium, and B12. Two servings a week does the trick. Sardines are extremely low in mercury and a sustainable product. Yes, they are fishy tasting. I slather with organic ketchup and eat them with a side of bread. My Target doesn’t offer a variety of sardine products. This is a reputable brand.
Amazing ..!

I’m trying to eat sardines for health reasons and this brand came highly recommended. Personally, the fishy smell is too strong and the skin is off-putting to me. This is not a starter sardine, in my opinion. I’m going to try mackerel and see if I can work my way to these. The flavored sardines and mackerel look more appealing but those are hard to find.
Not a fan

Tried this brand for the first time. I’ve liked other brands of canned sardines and bought two packs of these, but they tasted pretty fishy. They looked good. About 10 sardines per pack. They came with skin on, plus tails in most cases, which I don’t mind. Not mushy. Just not a fan of the strong fishy flavor of this brand, though, and will not buy these again.
they're just ok

I like sardines but I was not a big fan of these - the texture, how they looked.
