I've been using this seasoning for decades and it is the best! I've tried other taco seasonings and there's just no comparison to the spice mixture of Mccormick's taco spice.

This tastes terrible, it’s so bland. I’m shocked because I use McCormick seasonings for almost everything, but this one was a miss. I’ll stick to Old El Paso for tacos.

First of all I'd like to thank McCormick for the inspiration. I actually made my own taco seasoning tonight because not only does the new recipe taste bad but it has cornstarch as the first ingredient. Your website doesn't show cornstarch as the first ingredient but the label sure does. I ended up throwing the first batch of meat away because not only does it taste bad but there is also no indication weather it is gmo or non-gmo cornstarch.

I am not really sure what you've changed in your taco seasoning mix but lately it is drastically different than it used to be. I've b been buying and eating McCormick Original Taco Seasoning mix but something has changed and it is terrible. To be honest, it's not just McCormick but I've also use Tone's in the past too and it has changed in the same way. I don't know if it is less paprika or what but the flavor is awful. Is there a shortage of a particular seasoning which has resulted in a change in the recipe? I'd really like to know.

I enjoy this taco seasoning mix. I mix this with water and then mix into the meat. This has a bit of sodium in it so if you’re trying to be careful about sodium, get the less sodium version. Wish it came in a bigger pack.

At a time when prices matter I had to throw out over a pound of burger because your seasoning turned it into unpalatable over seasoned too salty something wrong just nasty couldn't finish one taco My wife couldn't finish hers either she thought it was her till I yelled with disgust BadBadBad!! should have stayed with Ortega Sorry I'm being honest I'll never eat that nasty stuff again UBAD!!!!

This is NOT the "original" recipe I've used for decades. It's hotter, not the same color, and relies on heat rather than depth of flavor. We won't buy it again.
