these were genuinely my favorite. i’ve been vegan for 13 years, and im now 24. this is the first time I loved vegan chicken and it was SPICY! my favorite! felt like I hit the jackpot. the new recipe is so bad and always hurts my stomach :/

They changed the formula. This used to be my go to but not anymore. It tastes bland and disgusting. I ended up throwing out the whole bag. Will never purchase again.

For years I loved this product I was put on by my Vegan friend. I knew immediately something was different cuz they tasted awful! My wife told me on the bag it said new and improved… THESE TASTE HORRIBLE. I loved the old recipe and being able to share this product with so many friends and family and afterward blowing their mind that it wasn’t real chicken because it tasted so good. Now i guess it has ended for me buying this product. So disappointing

I have been eating these for over 14 years, but the new recipe is awful. They have lost flavor, the texture is no longer the same. I eat meat, and vegetarian products and this texture and flavor is like eating something that should not be consumed. Why mess with something that was great before? I am no longer buying these products unless they revert to the old recipe.

Dislike the new recipe … to the point I no longer buy these. I used to buy about 6 bags a week, but I find them inedible since they changed their formula at the end of 2024. It’s a real bummer.

These used to be an important staple of my vegetarian diet. Whatever this "new improved recipe" is, it broke one of the best plant-based products out there. The texture is weird now and the flavor is practically gone. If you can possibly change it back, please do. Otherwise, you're losing a lot of formerly loyal consumers.

The change in recipe in fall 2024 ruined these. The texture is mealy and flavor is gone. My guess is they’re trying to appeal to meat-eaters, but will likely lose many vegetarians in the process. Such a disappointment.

This used to be my go-to quick dinner, but noticed the last three packages I have purchased have a different texture and do not taste as good. Just looked at the package again and it states New Recipe…disappointed in this change and will not be buying going forward.

The “new and improved” recipe is an absolute disaster. I didn’t notice the label but you can immediately detect the change upon opening the bag; it smells like raw meat, which isn’t a good thing. The texture that I so enjoyed has been replaced by a chewy rubbery texture. I always have bags of these in the freezer but will no longer purchase or eat the remaining bags recently purchased; they’ll be returned.

I was skeptical, but was pleasantly surprised they actually really do taste like chicken. I had to do a double take to make sure they were actually vegetarian because the flavor was so spot on. Will definitely be buying these again as a new staple for easy dinner nights!
