I’ve been buying your Western dressing for decades and love it. My husband pickup our most recent bottle. After shaking it, it poured out like water and tasted awful. I really hope this isn’t a new recipe.

I used to buy this product almost soley, till I realized it contains fairly large amounts of high fructose corn syrup. I now purchase Dorothy Lynch salad dressing which contains no high fructose corn syrup.

This is our new favorite salad dressing. Someone recommended it this year and we love it. The only issue I have is that there is no “squeeze spout”. I always end up getting too much dressing (yes there is a thing lol).

Saw a bottle,in the grocery in Minneapolis while visiting daughter and son in law. Brought it back with us to Nashville. Enjoyed it on salad with steak and baked potato. Really good. Brought back fond memories of my childhood.

This has been my absolute FAVORITE salad dressing for years, especially on taco salad!!! However, after becoming sensitive to high fructose corn syrup, I started reading labels. High fructose corn syrup is the very first ingredient in this dressing. No one should be eating that!

Purchased this from a local grocery store as I usually do and the moment I got home I realized it looked strange. The unopened bottle had this oily, watery layer on top which I've never seen with Western. I immediately opened it up and poured some into a bowl to see what it was. It was very watery and tasted terrible. Like some strange flavor chemicals.I thought maybe it seperated so I shook it up well and tried again. It thickened up but still had a very strange taste. What did you do to this dressing? I've been using this since I was a kid and this isn't the same Western I've been using for the 30+ years. Did it go bad or is this just some new crappy formula?? If it's the new recipe l, I'll never buy this terrible imposter again. So disappointing.

I used to like the Original Western dressing as a kid. I just bought a bottle of it last week and there is no longer any tang to it, it is super sweet. I looked and the first ingredient is high fructose corn syrup. I will not be buying this again.

I have used and liked both French and Catalina salad dressings for eons but have never known about Original Western. It makes sense that it seems to be a variant of French dressing. I tried it today for thee first time and really enjoyed it. For years I have combined French and Thousand Island dressings for use in my shrimp salad, but I am going to try replacing the French with the Western and see what the crowd thinks. I read other reviews saying it was thin or oily or separated but mine is not. I is perfect in my opinion.

Just opened 1 of 3 bottles I bought last month. Product was watery. I re-shook the bottle and poured in a bowl. Product seperates. Oily on top. Won’t buy again. We have been using western dressing for years and are so disappointed in this quality and also that it is not very easy to find locally.

As with all the other one star reviews, something has drastically changed for the worse. I just recently noticed in Peoria, Illinois and thought maybe it was just a bad batch or pallet that was left in the sun for too long. I checked here to find out what was going on. After reading all the other reviews going back for more than a year, it seems like you've been gradually rolling out the new formula in different locations and ignoring the early negative feedback? I've seen that in other businesses where the management can't admit they screwed up and fix it. I truly hope that you take the short term loss and change it back for the long term good of the brand. Now, I have to switch to the second best which isn't near as good as the true original, but better than what it has now become.
